Fishermen living around Tulamben village area where our hotel is located at have been in hard situation to keep their life, because at that time also it was difficult to catch the fish. So we have coordinated with Fishery Bureau of government in Karangasem regency, and finally we made decision to hold Jukung Race 2000 and 2001. The event had been done successfully; the both guests and villagers have enjoyed and were happy. Almost 9 years later we held Jukung race 2009. Also the guests and villigers enjoyed. And Now in 2011 the circumstances can be allowed to hold this event again, please be expected. The committie of Jukung race 2012.
